The Competition, The Trust , The Goal ,the objectives and the means

The Dr RB Sontakke and Smt Lata Rao trust for universal music along with the Hindustani Sangeeth Vidyapeeth is organising a music competetion for Hindustani , Carnatic and Western music followed by a finale and a seminar where selected few winners can perform and interact with senior professionals in that respective field .

August 22nd and 23rd Hindustani Music
September 5th and 6th Carnatic Music
Sepetember 19th and 20th Western Music
Grand Finale on the 27th Sepetember


For the Grand Finale we will have young performers giving a chance to the winners to perform along with them on stage .There will be a seminar on music and culture where some maestros of their respective field will give valuble tips to the listeners on music appreciation and the growth of music in society .

This blog is also an interactive forum where people can share views , discuss matters strictly related to music . We aim to promote music not just as an entertainment but also as an important vehicle of creative ,spiritual , wholistic learning and growth .
